Ohmywishes has several tools in place to protect children from accessing information that is not appropriate for their age group.
When attempting to open an idea or section that is marked by the editor as 18+, a warning window will appear on the website or application screen asking you to confirm your age. Content will only be shown to the user after age confirmation.
Important: After the user’s age is confirmed, the warning will no longer appear on the screen. Parents should independently monitor their children’s access to the device on which age confirmation has already occurred.
Ideas and personal wishes of users that lead to sites that are prohibited by local authorities are marked separately within the card, informing the user about such content in advance.
Unacceptable content, including but not limited to scenes of violence, profanity, or mention of drugs, is completely prohibited in Ohmywishes regardless of age category.
Important: Some of the content on Ohmywishes is created by the users themselves. However, to display such content, users need to intentionally interact with each other (subscribe to a user, visit their wishlist). If you encounter any illegal content or content that violates the Ohmywishes rules, please contact our support team immediately and send us a link to such content.
