You can restrict access to individual wishes or lists within a wishlist.
Private Wishes
When creating or editing a wish in your wishlist, you can select the “Secret wish” option. Only you will be able to see this wish. You can make it public again at any time.
A secret wish is only visible in your profile. It will not be displayed to your friends when they visit your profile, or via the link to your wishlist.
A link to a secret wish sent to another person will not open. However, if you make the wish public again, the link will work again.
Private Lists
When creating or editing an individual list in your wishlist, you can choose from several options for who can view the list:
- Default
- Subscribers Only
- By Secret Link Only
- For Me Only
Wishes within wishlists inherit the same privacy settings as the list they are in. For example, if you have a subscribers-only list, a user who is not subscribed to you will not see that list or the wishes from it in your profile.
However, if a wish is in two lists simultaneously with different privacy settings, it will receive the less strict privacy setting. For example, a wish in a “For Me Only” list and a “Subscribers Only” list will be visible to your subscribers who open your profile.
